Philpost to operate remittance center, door-to-door delivery services
ILOILO CITY, Nov. 24 (PNA) - The Philippine Postal Corporation (Philpost) is embarking on a modernization program in a bid to enhance its services to the public and make these at par with emerging courier services in the country today.
Philpost Chairman Cesar N. Sarino, who visited Iloilo City Wednesday, bared that the modernization program includes putting up of remittance center for domestic and international transaction and door-to-door delivery services.
Sarino stressed the need to change the operations of postal office throughout the country.
He said they would rid the Philpost of its bad image following complaints of rampant robbery within the postal office and its slow services.
Unlike before, the Philpost will no longer depend on the delivery of mail matters as its major business because of the presence of so many mobile phones and networking sites in countries globally. (PNA)

You posted this article a year ago. We expect for a change. Nothing's change. Why it takes too long for the parcel to come from other countries to the Philippines? What is the delivery routine of this? PhilPost is still not doing good.
