IWAG FESTIVAL: POTOTAN, CHRISTMAS CAPITAL OF ILOILO
Once again, Pototan Iloilo Will shine this December as the Municipality of Pototan will hold its annual IWAG FESTIVAL (FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS).
Iwag festival started in 1997 organized by a group of private individuals. The popularity of IWAG Festival increased as the years goes by. More and more lights are placed each year, people from nearby municipalities and Cities visit Pototan and explore the magnificent beauty of IWAG.
Iwag has become a tradition every Pototanons look forward. Now Pototan tag as the Christmas Capital of Iloilo.
